On Friday we watched as the flowers
Crept out of their freshly made beds,
Saturday we were makin’ a snowman
And cruisin’ around on our sleds.
The snow, it piled up to the windows
But the sun staggered out with a lurch
So the snow was all melted by evening.
Guess tomorrow we’re goin’ to church.

Such a sad story. :o)
What a fun day! And a great poem :-)
I wish we got snow like that here in Tennessee. Every time a storm comes they make it sound like it will be bad, but it's only been a dusting. Everyone still freaks out about the flurries - it makes me laugh.
Okay I still don't get this blog thing can't see where to sign in...but I am happy to say we are no longer getting snow every day. You all made very good use of it. The Galloways have volcano ash on their snow. That tops us all! This is gramschase.
We totally understand March snow storms...but were your flowers REALLY starting to bud? I am so jealous! We have at least another month before spring.
Our snow does have a bit of volcanic ash as gramschase said, but nothing too exciting...although our church WAS canceled due to ash fall :-)
